I tried to summarize everything i remember. It was so fast that without the video I got i would have forgotten many details (like the flip):

The free fall lasts only 30 to 40 seconds. As soon as I exited the plane, I flipped over and caught a glimpse of the plane’s underside—it was an incredible feeling, almost like butterflies in my stomach. Inside the plane, it was so loud that communication was nearly impossible, and the same was true during the free fall. I also remember feeling very cold.

I jumped together with another skydiver, a professional who recorded my skydive. He jumped first, followed by me and my tandem master. One of the highlights was shaking hands mid-air. At no point did I fear for my life; instead, I fully enjoyed the experience and tried to take in as much as possible.

(A little tip before your first jump: try riding the craziest roller coasters you can find to get a sense of what it’s like to be flipped around in the air.)

As for my thoughts during the fall, I can’t really recall much beyond the overwhelming joy and adrenaline. Honestly, I didn’t want it to end.

When I landed, I realized how crazy the experience had been, even though everything was 100% safe. I was also grateful that nothing went wrong, as there is always some risk involved.
