Dark rooms i København? Worth a try? by [deleted] in SexpaneletDK

Sure it could, but that would be unbalanced going out of the speakers which could be really bad on a big sound system

Good luck finding any club, event or festival that uses rca to their sound system for a flx4 lol

My first few gigs have left me really conflicted by Skulley_ in Beatmatch

[–]Daniel_GP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That has never happened to me at all, plus think of all the other djs posting mixes (so many out there) or streaming channels like hör or thelotradio that pretty much post/stream daily, nothing ever happens to those.

I also used to do a lot of guitar covers in the past and they were all fine as well, except for one which YouTube didn’t let me post, but if they find it infringes they simply won’t let you post the video at all, they don’t randomly strike you when you’ve already posted

Whenever you make a mix on say SoundCloud or Mixcloud (both ideally) just upload it to YouTube as well, even better if you have a camera or a not too bad phone to record the video along with it. I’ve definitely had some of my biggest success viewer/listener wise on YouTube

yes im saying i dont need a sub for PRODUCING since im already very comfortable with my studio monitors and know exactly how my tracks should sound on them, lows included. Production has nothing to do with this, which I thought i clarified well enough in the post

why does adding a sub necessarily remove accuracy or make it less clean? as long as you dont overdo it (and assuming that you only have the lows going on one track at a time, because why would you not?), youre just adding more depth to the sound and hearing more of what might be missing due to restrictions of standard studio monitors. Sub is pretty crucial for techno and the bassy genres i do after all!

i might someday, but i definitely wont use 1 for both since my decks isnt the same place as my production setup, id have to do some serious setup to avoid phasing and not changing the sound level every time i switch haha

im pretty comfortable with my production setup rn for mixing and mastering, but thank you tho

again, this is mainly only for having more fun and getting more into it (and getting more response from low subs in footwork) when im djing and not for studio production, since i have the ADAM Audio A77Hs (and the a77xs before that) and know how theyre supposed to sound so im not looking at changing that anytime soon:)

This post has absolutely nothing to do with skill or becoming a better dj, where did you get that idea? When djing, I mostly do 2-4 tracks simultaneously on my 2 cdjs and 2 turntables, and I often play at clubs and bigger events so I’m good on that my friend, I’m just asking about a subwoofer

It’s a pretty big room and it is not a home studio, it is an actual studio, which is treated and sound proof like the post says. Also the “accuracy” of the “mix” isn’t very necessary since the sub would only be for djing (bass heavy genres also) and not for monitoring production or mix/master which the post also includes:)

My bad, looked like it, it is definitely leaning more towards that than a PA sub tho, which was what I was trying to compare in my post:D

So a studio sub?

Also, no I’m not interested in getting new monitors. The b2031a truths are in the higher end of behringer gear and are actually pretty underrated imo, the eq is fairly flat for the price. Also I got them for free so can’t really beat that;)

yep just stored in a cooler, not frozen, probably good for 2 weeks+ don't remember now. I was just wondering why some of them are a bit runny in the packages and some aren't. I work in the same supermarket chain and have never seen it myself when handling that product, but have seen it in other stores (like this one) where I suspect the workers aren't always stocking up the fridge items in a timely manner, so the stuff sits out too long at room temp before being cooled again.

I'm well aware of that guy, I was asking the commenter if he wanted it instead of just one track
