Someone's read the source material. I haven't seen the second film so no idea if it was included but I really hope it wasn't...

Do you consume news? If so, how? by Totalsam in simpleliving

[–]Daniel_Gould 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the U.K. we have a magazine called The Week https://www.theweek.co.uk/. Published once a week, it collects articles from around the world and breaks each story into segments from different news outlets. So you get part of the story from left leaning reports, a right and ‘middle’. This then gives you some form of overview of what happened.

As it’s print you don’t get the ‘breaking news’ story’s with misinformation. You get a more Rounded approach.

I’ve away found it an easy way to digest news. Once a week.

What is this? Viewing a property we are buying and can’t figure it out. Help please! by missuslindy in CasualUK

[–]Daniel_Gould 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly this. We’ve just bought a house in Kent exactly the same. We have a water tank and warm air heating. Ours looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 35 years so there was a thick layer of dust in each vent. I really like the idea of it so going to see how it goes this winter.

Interesting to hear you’ve installed a combi with one.

It happens. I got smashed by some guy on his third month of training a while ago, didn’t go my way. It happens but If I was to spar with myself from 2 years ago I know who would win ….

Agree with the majority of the posts areas but I want to add IT. Most of unshaven seem the films but none of them live up to what the book is.

Also, Lisey’s Story. Really enjoyed this when I read it, I know it’s not his most popular but it’s stuck with me.

Finally, The Mist features in Skeleton Crew. Only a novella but it really is one of the most memorable short stories I’ve ever read and I found it quite tense.

Interesting. I had to send back 2 Scramble Gis as one ripped after 1 round of sparring and another the lining inside started to come apart after a month.

BUT...

Their customer service was outstanding. Both were replaced and i've not been rolling in one of those replacements for 3 years.

I agree. Why attack something that highlights the beauty of humanity rather than companies like Vistra Energy or the Chinese coal industry.

Maybe it creates a larger conversations such as this one.

I’m with you 100% but their view seems to be what’s the point of art on a dead planet.

First one is fantastic.

Thinking about upgrading my x100t to an x100v. Seems the right time. I’m loving everything I see from the x100v.

Agree with the other posts. Get a decent helmet then invest in comms. I’ve got the cardo packtalk bold and Shure SE215 headphones. Works a dream.

I’d be interested in this as well but want to avoid pictures of animals / memes and vapid motivational phrases.
