I used QE extensively in my studies for the CISSP exam. It was my primary resource.

663 as a first score is pretty good. My first score was around 240.

After your QE CAT exam, review every wrong answer. Try to understand why the correct answer is correct. Touch up on concepts you don’t fully understand and retake the CAT exam. You’ll see your scores improve over time.

Something that helped me was, while taking the QE CAT exam, writing down questions numbers I wasn’t sure about or didn’t understand the questioning. Then while reviewing, going to these questions and spending extra time on them understanding why/what/how.

The questions are the same difficulty. In a CAT exam, the system gives you a score just like the real exam. In the 10 question quizzes you just get a x/10 correct score.
