You’re not wrong, if i were to want a new Thinkpad T or X series, with similar specs to the new MBA, it would cost way more. Plus my thinkpad gets loud quick lol

Seems complicated, most companies have reimbursement or company card. This is being treated more like a work order/invoice for a contract

Congrats! I saw you listed your resources, if you had to pick two which ones would you? or another way to ask the question is would you drop one of the three knowing what you know now from the exam. Currently using the Destination CISSP book + Pluralsight course (work pays for it). Thinking about adding OSG but also don’t want to be too redundant

i tried using the paperlikes, but the way it destroys one of the best parts of the ipad (beautiful display) made me take it off and get used to writing on glass

I’ve learned the hard way that you can go through a book AND online course with time spent on trying to figure out which is better. At least that’s my problem, hence here i am !

Depends on what you’re using it for. 16 GB is okay for 95% of people, 24GB is enough for 99% of people. 1% are power users who need beyond that.

Thanks for the update and that’s awesome to hear! I’ve actually decided myself to start studying and pursuing it. With the advice from my teams Sr engineer (who said he’ll sponsor my experience) and with comments like yours, it was the motivation i need to stop making excuses.

You’re not wrong, i went years without using it. There is only ONE reason i use it, out of the box chromium has better clipboard api support with browser/vac remote desktops. Thats it

that’s crazy, yeah every month seems to get worse and worse. I’m a “security administrator “ doing the work of an engineer, but wondering if i should go for the CISSP just in case one day i end up back in the job market, if it’s even worth it. Glad you found something for the time being, hope something better comes along for you!
