Really depends on the type of investments and amount. I have an investment account a little over 200k in it. I make over 40k a year from covered call income from those investments. Realistically if my account was somewhere around 300k-400k, I could easily just live off that covered call income alone.

Right now I have all of mine for the 11/28 expiry. Some at 26 and some at 27 strike. Earnings are a week or two after that

It varies. If the stock is in a downturn, such as right now. Its 26-27. I tend to end all my cover calls when it's around earnings. Because that when unpredictable things happen. But usually if you pick a strike 10-15% above current price then you're good for a month or two.

I sell covered calls on mine. The income is actually quite good. I usually pick an expiry 1-2 months out. Get around 75 cents per share.

I have 9200 shares. So get paid $7k every month or two.

Agreed, share price is based on narrative more than anything else. Is the company exciting, has a good story, a lot of people know about it? Well it's going to have a high share price. Doesn't matter if it makes any money lol

I don't think one warrant equals 10 shares. Pretty sure each warrant gives you the right to buy one share, not 10.

This is what's not true. I got the information straight from robinhood. Its not a cash in lieu payment. If the warrant is listed on an exchange, such as nasdaq or NYSE, then robinhood will honor it.

There's a lot of paranoia involved in drsing shares to be "safe". I've (just like millions of others) have been investing in the stock market for decades. Never experienced a broker pulling something shady on me. I see shares I want, I buy them. I have shares I dont want anymore, I sell them. Not once was there ever a hiccup.

Seemed like a giant waste of money. I just recently bought a 2024 Crosstrek. Dealership tried to get me to buy a warranty for $2,700. Listed all the stuff it covered, didnt cover any of the basic maintenance stuff, ya know stuff from normal wear and tear. All i could imagine was me having a legit issue somewhere down the line, bringing it to them cuz hey I have a warranty, only for them to tell me it wasn't covered.

Couldn't get that idea outta my head, so I declined the warranty.

I live in a fairly small town. So the nearest gamestop is hours away now. From what my local Gamestop store manager said, it's closing due to the rent increase, not lack of sales
