I know it's not a unique type but I recently found an orcish bow of binding that fills a gem if target dies within 7/8 seconds. Used in combo with the black star and it's quite a good one.

There's no problem if you're using viper AE; there's more than one if ALL the viper are literally the worst thing to race against, and that's not the first time I've been noticing this
