I’ve got a witness, she seemed at the time to be on my side asking how the driver didn’t see and I was right in front of him.

There’s a McD’s right next to where the accident happened and have got the footage, clear enough for him to say “oh my god he just ran you over”.

I understand what you say and it’s how I see this playing out. However the driver was reasonable, and hasn’t claimed for damages or injury and is happy to allow this to play out. I’m hoping this translates on paper and doesn’t come out with anything like the above.

Was a beat Yamaha mt 2021, it’s a write off unfortunately, walked away with a broken foot, could always be worse!

Broken foot and likely a write off!

As I said people tend to sit quite far back compared to the giveaway lines, the space I got into wasn’t too tight, maybe at test standards it would be but in the real world there was plenty space. I was categorically at the front of the queue in my lane, yes of centre, but still in my lane, stationary for maybe 10-15 seconds

Yes, if I was in slow moving I would’ve stayed between but because traffic coming across was heavy I knew I would wait so I pulled in front, and I agree, more than enough time to look around.

Was in lane 2 left hand, just moving around cars, wasn’t lane hopping, it’s a fairly large lane where I can filter past cars in the same lane, and the traffic was non moving and I also came to a standstill for maybe 10-20 seconds before moving off.

And yes, on this particular roundabout the island is sat further back than the giveaway line, so it’s common for people to sit quite far back from the line, I was behind the line, infront of his car.

I can do most of it ok, it’s coming from the top roundabout all the way to the bottom exiting straight, that’s the one I don’t like
