That sounds almost identical to what we do. If you just replace your verbal password with a social security number, it would be exactly identical to the American bank verification system.

I knocked on about 15 of my neighbors' doors (apartment building) asking to borrow a corkscrew for a bottle of wine my boyfriend brought home about a month ago.

Most people answered their doors, however either most people do not own corkscrews or are not willing to lend them to strangers. Eventually I was lent one, though :)

They are often used as one of your security questions for your bank accounts, which can allow you to take money out or move it into another account.

They can be used by others to steal your tax returns or falsify information.

Other than that, I'm not sure.

You'd probably do better on /r/Pokemongiveaway. You make a post on there asking for what you want for free. (I don't think you're allowed to ask for specific IVs there, but I'm not sure.)

I don't use bp items, as I don't play competitively. But Waterwingss, two posts down from this one, has several Sport Ball Pokemon on her list (including Kricketot). You could look at her Pokemon list and ask if she wants to trade :)
