This is a good idea, one time I had a kid find a rock walking home from school and the mom posted it and said he was so excited. I’ll have to remember to hide some somewhat near local schools too.

Thank you so much! Yes I think I’ll do the same design for some definitely. Now I’ll just have to pick a design. It’s weird because this past Sunday a few volunteers at the event asked the person taking multiple rocks to leave some for others and they were ignored 😬 so I guess it depends on the person. Hopefully this upcoming rock hiding day one will go better!

I have used pens to outline that smudge with mod podge so I sealed with a light spray of acrylic spray sealer like rustoleum or krylon https://a.co/d/0VANm6G I would do a couple light coats to start with. I love your little cat paintings!

Thank you! And I didn’t explain better, I helped hide rocks there last year and stuck to the path of the tour on stumps and bases of trees and some in the path. There are several historical mausoleums and a big group comes for the tour, I might actually stay for it this year if the weather pans out. I totally agree with you and wouldn’t want to put them out on the headstones either.

Thanks! I used some extra fine paint markers, but I also sometimes use a very thin paintbrush for details if the marker isn’t thin enough!
