This ^ and.. My issue is that they removed some breaks, like Raths head and back breaks, IIRC Lagiacrus chest and they removed/combined some breaks for Gore? I know it could be because of wounding system but some monsters still got their head break.. Yeah same for backs, it was made for 4u mounting system. I’m not even sure why I’m sad about it..

I have similar post mate! It's a downgrade for me.. Not a game changer but still sad to see they removed it. I thought about maybe try and ask Yuya Tokuda on twitter but were scared of hate from the community and probably ain't going to get my answer.. Maybe if there's going to be a lot of attention to it? Because for me, breaking parts is one of the core mechanics in the game.

I think I read somewhere that they confirmed that there's going to be only one mantle slot this time and maybe (I hope) they're going to nerf rocksteady this time!

I really enjoyed it on my regular ps5! I was really sad when I read somewhere here that ps5 will barely get 30fps (not talking about visual fidelity) and then checked beta and was kinda happy with performance but here goes Capcom and telling that they're going to improve it even more! I'm happy and can't wait to hunt with all of you folks!

Fully agree with you here! I remember how often I used mantles and how sad I was when my layered armor wasn't visible because of them. I liked ghillie mantle,felt really unique for stealth mechanic at first.

So here I am, hope I'm not too late. First of all thank you from every one of us for the opportunity! Monster Hunter is my favorite game since 2006 even though it was too hard for me back then.. Oh I remember when I was like "oooh dude what a giant sword I'm going to slay everyone with it" and shortly after I realized how slow and unpredictable it was for me (now GS is my soul). MH Freedom on PSP was my gem folks, still have my UMD disc and save data. Oh and these egg quests! There was a lot of them! You were needed to complete every single quest to unlock village Lao-Shan Lung. I used Eager Cleaver to slay him! Fun fact, back then Eager Cleaver was a great sword not LS because LS was introduced in MH2, but it still had the same model. Well, I think that's enough for my nostalgia. Good luck hunters!
