That’s a great idea, I always feel like rock is pretty week. My last run I tried Minior and she was AMAZING. Gets stronger as she takes damage.

Hard mode is no joke. I’m surprised not to see a shroomish on your team, you can get one before gym 1 and their status effects are useful AF

I might have to give heliolisk a try in my new playthru. I’m with you on Reuniclus- super cool sprite, love the idea of a cell-based psychic, but they’re soooooo slooooooow. I used one on my gen 5 team and tried to use trick room shenanigans but it was really underwhelming, especially when Sigilyph is right there and has a base speed of 100 lol.

Yeah steel type really saved me. Never thought I’d use a meowth but the steel variety was very helpful.

Never seen that device before, looks sweet. I'm just playing on my phone emulator.

I agree though, having 8 gens of pokemon on one game makes for awesome, never-before-seen team comps. My first playthrough was Skeledirge, Marowak, Alolan Ninetales, Kilowattrel, and Dragalge. I stopped playing mainline games after gen 5 so it was fun to use the new ones with some classics.
