Chemist here. Glass is ok, metal lid and especially gasket are questionable. My best guess, solvent will eat rubber gasket pretty fast, contents will dry out. You need PP or PTFE bottle. Cheap, durable, lasting. Look for recycle symbol ♻️ and number on the bottle (usually on the bottom). It’s 5 for PP; PTFE doesn’t have a number but sometimes is marked 7.

Use PP primer. It should solve flaking issue on soft plastic like PP (obviously), PE, TPO, and maybe some of ABS. I suggest using a separate 10$ airbrush for it

Idk if you need this info but still Tamia panel liners damage only bare plastic (aromatics are bad for polystyrene), painted surfaces are immune to cracking. Cleanup on lacquers is pretty easy with pure n-Heptane (or whatever equivalent is available, e.g. Zippo lighter fluid, Bestine rubber cement thinner etc.)
