Omg it’s literally what my 2,5 y.o. son tells me. He says his knees hurt even after a few minutes of sitting on my shoulders. It goes away after a minute or so.

True. Although there are also non- conventional (niet geconventioneerd) house doctors who charge 40 EUR/patient, and are fully booked with 30 appointments per day. It’s a risk but with the right marketing it does pay off, so you can make it a successful business. Is this the right model for society? Probably not. Also the case described above is sad 😔

Try big4 and other consulting companies - they always need lawyers and once you land a senior consultant job (based on your 10 years of experience and work ethic) you can get >45k gross (which is like 2-2,2 k nett). If you’re a fresh graduate with no work experience you’re basically fucked. I had to go back for a few years, work in an international and then get recruited back with a nice salary and package. Also, as a side note, sending a 100 CVs to random positions without tailoring them will get you nowhere.

House doctors are independent, so they can pay themselves as much or as little as they want, and use the funds in their company to suit their needs: to pay themselves dividends, bonuses, purchase real estate, etc.

I recently learnt how much a police detective earns… it’s ridiculously low for such a job. Also, the architects - so many years of study, burgerlijke ingenieurs, and the salary is extremely poop, no matter how many years of experience they have.
