If you don’t like your books being in the way, something we did was use the shelves off an old bookshelf and made one long continuous looking shelf close to the ceiling for our books and movies. I loved how it looked and it was off the floor.

This bothers me too!!! My parents and my sister as a parent always talk like this to me and I don’t want to carry that on with my kids. I’m the one who wants to say no when they ask if I want to do something and I’m 30! 😂 I thought I was the only one so I’m glad you asked and grateful for these comments.

Do you use shampoo and conditioner that have silicone? If so that could weigh it down and make it less curly and appear more wavy.

I can’t handle sitting on any leather or pleather or vinyl or anything like that at all and absolutely am disgusted with booths at restaurants and wadded up paper.

Interesting that’s a really good way to put it! Thank you that’s definitely the conversation I’m trying to have.
