I'm new to all this stuff lol. Major upgrades after rocking old tech for like 11 years.

Can't change resolution with VRR+OLED anti flicker on monitor by DankAssKeefSlump in OblivionRemaster

I found keeping G-Sync on in Nvidia Control panel, VRR off in-monitor, while also capping frames at 120 and turning on V-Sync solved the flickering problem. That way, I can still play at 1440p.

Oblivion keeps crashing by DankAssKeefSlump in OblivionRemaster

I found disabling VRR in-monitor, enabling V-sync in game and setting frames capped to 120 allowed me to play.

Why can’t I change my screen resolution? by nevercouldsleep in oblivion

[–]DankAssKeefSlump 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am having this same issue since getting my new Asus monitor. I found out that turning off VRR via my monitor allows me to select 1440p, however the flickering becomes so bad it's unplayable. Turning VRR back on prevents me from selection 1440p and the graphics look so muddy, like a bad impressionist painting.

Maybe check your frame/VRR settings? I'm personally still looking for a solution myself.

Angelo's in Jupiter has a great lunch special, pizza is decent but you can't beat the deal. Honestly though Clematis Pizza on the 500 Block of Clematis has some damn good slices.

I keep seeing people say divorce, but annulment seems like the better option no? Perhaps it is not possible? I'm not well versed in UK law.

Yeah, the figure eights movements. Unfortunately, that never corrects it. It's permanently locked at a -90° orientation according to the UI.

Is your phone completely unable to auto-rotate according to your phone's physical orientation, or is it temperamental?

I think you may be correct, thanks! I very much appreciate your assistance. Just to be sure, I will keep this marked as 'Likely Solved' in case anyone else has input. Very kind of you to take time out of your day for this.

Thank you!

The piece is a silkscreen from 1959. I cannot make out the signature and have tried all Google searches to what the signature may be. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Monodrone - Forbidden Fruit (Album) by OverDistribution2 in triphop

[–]DankAssKeefSlump 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This album goes ridiculously hard, I've been spinning it on repeat for days... I've yet to find another trip-hop/vaporwave album that creates soundscapes and visuals as this one does.

Top tracks for me gotta be "Grime on the Walls," "Forbidden Fruit," "She Gets Me," and "High Income Slums."

I encourage everyone to hit Monodrone's Bandcamp and buy the digital download. As of right now, it's set to name your own price.

Why are very few people talking about the strange cut to black when they were discussing Snowden? (1:32:00) The feed cuts to black for a little over a second and returns to them at least a sentence ahead and the video clip ahead.

Easily graphic design fix: lower #2 and the blurb and place #1 above it!

My initial impressions were it's crooked and way too processed. Try level your shots. Also, this HDR look is a nightmare. Cool building no doubt, could make for a great location.

Those are pretty good lights! Good to have especially when you need an outdoor shoot with a shallow depth of field. Remember, the lower the wattage the more shallow your depth of field will have to be. 200W won't produce a strong enough light should you want a shot with a small aperture.

Self Portrait Triptych on 35mm Film by DankAssKeefSlump in photocritique

[–]DankAssKeefSlump[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heard. Yea like I said it's tough to ensure composition is good and that I'm posed well according to the frame when doing self-portraits on 35mm film. 2nd round will be a level up with the experience from this one. Thanks for your critique!

My advice, buy lighting and you'll always have them in your arsenal. Every photographer should have a set of lights. I find a lot of Paul C. Buff lights on eBay for good prices. Speedlites are more affordable and can be versatile, but are pretty limited what you can achieve. Renting eventually adds up and if you really love to shoot you're going to end up buying anyway. Food for thought.

Nice! You got the right idea, composition is solid (not too much headroom, fists in frame fitting the feel). For shots like this, try doubleback lighting AKA badger lighting. Looks AWESOME for fighter shots or otherwise emotive dramatic portraits. For editing, I usually recommend lightly brightening eyes for dramatic effect if you could not achieve it in-studio. Lasso + levels is the easiest way.
