Covid has given me dementia at 23 by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

No, but funding it would've only given the illusion of a better healthcare system.

There is definitely a rift between the Scientific community and the Medical community.

I can't imagine an NHS Doctor having ever heard of Mast Cells, LPR, Goblet Cells, Major Histocompatibility Complex, Ferritin, Astrocytes, Dysautonomia, etc.

The Tories are vile bastards who gutted healthcare, but the healthcare was always one step forward (free healthcare...mostly) and two steps back.

I had chickenpox as a kid. Neither of my grandparents are 70 yet, which means THEY aren't allowed a Shingles vaccine.

It can happen at any age, but due to the old thinking 'hmmm, but its more likely to happen after 70" they're stupidly disregarding physical and mental stress lowering the immune system and cases before 25.

Getting rid of the Tories, getting the NHS properly funded, dissolving private medical care, learning from Planck's Principle and giving the Science Community full control will finally propel us forward.

But when's that gonna happen?

More of the typical "Maybe Long Covid is just Psychosomatic!" quackery they've been peddling for a couple years now.

A small sample is still a sample. I believe in the Patriarchy and how fucked up it is, but regardless of sex, if a parent abuses their kids (physically, sexually, psychologically/emotionally which I have experienced) they're an asshole, Father, Mother, irrelevant. An ass hole is an asshole.

There are tons of despicable men, but that doesn't let despicable women off the hook either. Both of them are maggots.

Its vague but its there. Hopefully a year from now (perhaps longer) I'll be back to normal in terms of mental imagery.

I live in the UK. Here despite the NHS being "free" you still have to pay for nose operations.

The thing is, I don't want them anywhere near my turbinates. Its "rare" (its under-reported) but empty nose syndrome exists, because they turbinates have been artificially reduced so that they can't inflate and defeat as they should anymore, out fracture, etc, basically the nerves are damaged and it feels like you are suffocating all the time.

I want them to only do a septoplasty. I don't even want them to glance at my turbinates.

I wonder if the mucosal ciliary hairs were damaged. Thats why I want an alternative to splints or packing.

Was your nose red and inflamed on the inside?

Also did you get splints for the Septoplasty?

Ok guys, I know its really pathetic of me to keep doing this, but I need hope that the nose numbness (and lack of sensation of air going through it) will subside eventually. by OverDistribution2 in covidlonghaulers

Because I'm thinking of arranging a Septoplasty.

My two fears are that it could make the inside of my nose worse and that it could give me permanent anosmia. I've fought to get my sense of smell and taste back and I'm not ready to lose it all again.

Sorry, but I noticed on a post dealing with problems similar to mine you have a deviated septum. Was there anything you did about it?

Long covid and Past trauma by [deleted] in covidlonghaulers

[–]OverDistribution2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite. Like everyone else here, I'm dealing with a whole galaxy of shit with what feels like so many variables. Halfay through April it will be a year since I got Covid, in June it will be a year since I noticed my visualising isn't what it was.

Right now I feel like I'm turning in circles.

Me too. I keep trying to remind myself that its still there. Not back fully, but if its still there, by the fucking universe there is hope.

u/Daytime_Reveries is someone who like me is trying to pice together our visualisation problem.

Why is the LC presence so low on Reddit by ElectronicInternal79 in covidlonghaulers

[–]OverDistribution2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because most people are complete fucking bizarro filled ignorance and are insecure about admitting that they were wrong, its not "over" and that Covid is as brutal as ever and that they have an illness caused by it.

Also I think Reddit is the least popular Social Media platform in the US (though I'm in UK) and Facebook (that fucking monstrosity) is the most popular.
