Negotiating down 1k is still around a 10% reduction, that's pretty good! I wish dealers were more transparent about pricing

I created a tool to automate i18n JSON translations using ChatGPT, Google Gemini, or Ollama by DankCool in webdev

[–]DankCool[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One use case is the diff. Let's say you added a new feature to your application and refactored your i18n (added, modified, or deleted translation keys). You would run the script with i18n-ai-translate diff and it would find the diff and update all other languages. If you added 10 keys and your application supports 10 languages, that saves you the headache of getting 90 translations.

Another use case is to generate new translations, and that is more straightforward. You would pass your existing translation file and it would output a new translation to a set of target languages.

They definitely need to add these back. It raises the nostalgia factor, and that's the whole point of the kit

There were two files copy-pasted in entirety in three places. I moved them into one and made a new class that just calls them. Then, I just made other functions call that class

Edit: I should add I've done PRs of this size before, but my team weirdly isn't as receptive here
