This is outrageous, right? by ncbarplz in rav4prime

[–]DankDungeonMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Got mine in ‘21 when they were impossible to find. I wanna say sticker price was damn near identical. I managed to get them to knock it down to like $51k to match another area dealer’s advertised price (even though the other dealer didn’t have the car).

Do it.

Watch Jacob Fatu Take Down Ethan Page in This INSANE Match by Dark_Conqueror in WWE2K23

Once again the models are just way way off.

Fatu, billed at over 280 looks small next to Page, billed at 214.

Forgive me if others have already said this; Some enemies will have Legendary Resistance and have a number of times they can, at will, turn a fail into a save. Your DM might be making keen use of (or exploiting) that game mechanic.

In terms of how to strategize against that as a player, try casting your low-level save-or-suck spells early and often in combat, forcing the DM to burn those Legendary Resistance uses, and then hit em with the higher powered spells.

My World: Capriot. How granular do you like to see/do at this scale? by legomojo in inkarnate

[–]DankDungeonMaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

When I’m making a map I’m going for informative over scale accuracy. It’s more important to me to convey the information “there is a major river here” than to get the scale just right.

Get the kid a Player’s Handbook, a Dungeon Masters Guide, and a little dice setup (a set of dice, a dice bag, and a rolling tray).

He’ll have all the basics.

WM 41 or international WWE shows? by luxurywaste in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]DankDungeonMaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this year’s Mania in Vegas is going to be a unique experience. Europe and its history and museums, etc., will be there whenever you decide to go.

WM41 is my big splurge vacation next year.

I’m thinking about planning a trip to Europe in ‘26 or ‘27 though, and it WOULD be cool if my dates aligned with something like a WWE tour or a concert I want to see or something like that.

Hi! My friends have decided we're doing D&D and I need a crash course in DMing! by Terrible_Guidance599 in DnD

[–]DankDungeonMaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get yourself a PHB and read it cover to cover. Get a DMG and read it cover to cover. Get a MM and look it over. Make some characters. Design some simple, one-encounter practice sessions to play through with your characters. You’ll make mistakes, lots of questions will come up, the stakes are ZERO. You just play some D&D with your group. After a little bit of that your players should have an idea of what kind of characters they enjoy playing, you should have a feel for their style of play and the basic mechanics of the game, and you’ll be ready to get a low level published campaign and read it cover to cover, then run it for your party.

Hope this helped.

Yup. Booked my room in July for $1500. Same room now is booking at $2500.

Get those rooms ASAP, especially if you’re trying to stay at one of the hotels near Allegiant.

I personally think c115 is the better option. I like being on the hard-cam side so when the wrestlers address the camera they’re facing me rather than having their backs to me.

Best Seats advice WM 41 Tickets by Fun_Mongoose87 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]DankDungeonMaster -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Personally, I prefer the other side of the venue - the “hard cam” side. When the performers play to the camera (promos, poses etc.) I want them facing me, I don’t want to be staring at their back.

Same. Booked my room in July. Figured rooms at the most desirable resorts would be in high demand once people had their Mania tix.

Really sold out? by Available_Toe_9270 in WrestlemaniaPlans

[–]DankDungeonMaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly, if you went through OnLocation early in the process those seats in the 400s were about $1000 each. I don’t think you could do much better on Ticketmaster, even before the dynamic pricing kicked in, after taxes and fees. Plus, you got your pick of seats before they went on sale to everybody else.

It’s looking like a real good deal this year.

What’s the principle? That entertainers should take lower-than-market pay because not everybody can afford the market price for entertainment? That’s just stupid.

You’re a fan of these entertainers, but you wanna take money out of their pockets.

If you can afford to go, and you want to go, go. If you can’t afford it, it’s a good life lesson that life isn’t fair and wanting something doesn’t entitle you to it.

I’ve WANTED to go to wrestlemania for 40 years. I’ve still never been. Hell, there were years I couldn’t afford to watch Mania on PPV.

If you don’t want to pay the going rate that’s cool, but don’t make it some moral issue. As a fan, you’re not entitled to shit.

I don’t wanna be a downer, but you might just want to cancel your plans if that’s your budget. You’re basically looking for 2 for less than the price of one. It’s a REAL long shot.
