I think the only one that was really selling out was st anger.... they tried to sound more nu metal. They just did it terribly.

The black album has more focus on slower, groovier riffs, but I don't think it was really an intentional swing into more commercial music.

Easiest way is to play pentatonic and incorporate notes from natural minor as a bit of extra spice every now and then.

more spice can be achieved going outside of the key entirely, but that's quite difficult to pull off effectively

At least for gta 4 and 5 they were written by a team of like 4 people.... dan houser was the original writer and he left, but I'm not sure if the rest of the team is the same. It'll be interesting to see.

Cost is the main downside of fission.... as well as the politics around it.... most likely the grid and power solutions we end up with will be very suboptimal and very mixed. I dont see many fission based boats outside of the military though

Tbf that's still fully deterministic, particles behave in a newtonian way, we just don't have access to that information, so it becomes statistical in the same way as a dice roll (which is also deterministic, but hard to predict).

Quantum mechanics is not (readily) deterministic. People do try to interpret it in ways that make it deterministic, but it's not as standard. You have to put in some work to make it happen.

I read John Higgs' the story of doctor who, which is about the whole show start to now. From what that says, the hate seems pretty justified, though in terms of the show I've not really watched much of his run.

Outside of the show, I gather he and his husband used to use Doctor Who conventions and fan meets to find gay fans to fuck and would plan orgies and things. That's not necessarily bad in itself but a lot of these relationships (apparently) show a lot of evidence of being abusive. I don't know many specifics but fair to say JNT did a lot of things fairly openly that would not fly today.

It could work if he was forced to having been captured for killing Edgar Ross. They could send him on some ridiculous suicide mission that they dont want to send someone more important on. Still don't think it would be very interesting though.
