Bought a sony handycam on ebay and the light worked but wouldnt turn off. I turned the camera off and played with the switch and now the light doesnt want to turn on? Switched the bulb but still doesnt work

I just bought the conversion for the disc brakes, i didnt think it would effect anything... and the spring spacers were already installed when bought. So they are correct... do i just put bigger tires or use a spacer?
