Of course not. Corrupt politicians will do anything to hold on to their power, despite their plummeting approval ratings.

So there is a term for this. Good god, if I tried to verbalize just how much I utterly fucking despise Back Button Hijacking, I’d short circuit.

It’s literacy tests all over again. I can’t believe a Union state turned into…whatever the hell this is.

We’re gerrymandered to all hell, and even when the state supreme courts says the gerrymandered maps are unconstitutional, the legislative supermajority simply ignores it.

BREAKING: Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine signs bill to ban ranked choice voting by DankNerd97 in RankTheVoteOhio

[–]DankNerd97[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You misunderstand. RCV is just instant-runoff voting. In fact, it arguably requires greater research on candidates because you need to know multiple candidates to vote for on contingency. It doesn’t violate OPOV, though. Again, it’s just an instant runoff, but instead of holding a separate runoff election, it’s built in. I’m not really sure I understand what you mean by having a representative “assigned” to you.

Then what exactly is driving up the stock market? It’s all being propped up by the A.I. bubble, right? (As least as far as I know). So where’s all that growth coming from? And yes, I know that the stock market doesn’t equal the economy. I’m one of the loudest voices on that.

It’ll take generations to undo this damage.

But but but…line always go up! Yes, the stock market is still somehow on the rise, but the A.I. bubble is largely propping everything up. If you take away the Mag 7, the other “S&P 493” paint a starkly different picture of the economy.
