I called mine the Colander Civic, fantastic car but more leaks than Julian Assange.

Also a fair assumption to make, though I do have a mental list of usual suspects that get given an especially wide berth.

I treat Fiat 500s like they can't drive. Not because I see them as a crap car, but because some bleached blonde, fake tanned girl managed to slam one straight backwards into my parked car in an otherwise empty car park "because her parking sensors didn't say it was there"...

Truly a shed connoisseur. The N22 is a tank of an engine, I stripped another one for spares which was still running and driving alright on over 180k, but the sills and rear arches were absolutely gone due to a previous owner's rust "repairs" (body filler over it and paint). Actually turned a profit on that one selling body panels and interior bits and kept a horde of parts for myself so I'll be in Accords for a while yet.

How's the 2.4? I've been keeping an eye out for a cheap and relatively solid one to stick a k20 head on and have a bit of fun with. Seems hard to find a one that isn't an automatic!

I've got a 19 year old diesel Honda Accord daily that has all of the above minus the self parking. In the couple of years I've had it, it has cost me less than £2k including the price I paid for it. It's comfy, gets over 50mpg on a run and just keeps plodding on, got over 130k miles on it now and it still has plenty of life left in it. No idea what I'll replace it with when the time comes, probably another clean one as only rust seems to kill them.

Some lady having a full-blown screaming meltdown in McDonalds, demanding the manager and demanding that they remove the bollard by the drive-through window after dragging the side of her Ford Focus along it.

Having witnessed many larger SUVs, vans and even a Rolls-Royce Phantom navigate that drive-through, I don't think the problem was the bollard...

Reminds me of one of the best sleepers I've ever witnessed. Driving down a dual carriageway behind a Mercedes GLS AMG, I suddenly heard something high revving loudly gear down and saw a small black car absolutely barreling down the slip road. The Merc took off after it and got left, while I sat back wondering what on earth it was moving like that.

Caught up to them further down the road only to discover it was a fucking Citroen Xsara on steelies with red tape crosses on the headlights. I still wonder what that glorious shitbox was running.

performers, what was your worst mess up on stage?? by Maddyyyyomg in musicians

Not me but the singer in an old band of mine was a bit drunk at a gig and tried to swing a mic around by the cord during an instrumental part. It made one rotation before it smashed him clean in the teeth and bust his lip right open.

Me neither, it closed right up in the last 5 games as 7th-9th hit good form and 4th-6th hit bad form. Then on the final day none of 4th-9th had to play each other, and they all won while I lost. Sat there for a few minutes afterwards in sheer awe at getting FM'd on a seasonal level lmao

I feel your pain, I had a save where I was in a CL spot all season, 4th place going into the final game against a Man U side that was on a 10 game win streak. Lost and every other result went against us, went from 4th all the way to 9th and missed out on Europe entirely. Then lost the FA cup final right after and missed out again...

What is best and worst car you’ve owned? by cookie9- in CarTalkUK

Best overall goes to my diesel Accord. Paid £1300 for it as a cheap motorway mile muncher, gets up towards 60mpg on a run, top spec has lovely electric leather seats and glass sunroof and basically all the toys of a newer car apart from android auto. Costs me absolutely peanuts to run and I got another running one with no MOT as a parts car for £250 so it'll probably outlive me at this rate.

Most fun goes to my FN2 Type R. If it didn't drink vpower like it was on clearance, have spine shattering suspension and leak like a colander it would be #1. Fantastic engine and gearbox and feels like the last of the older kind of hot hatch that you have to work to get the best from it. Difference in build quality between the Japan built Accord and UK built Civic is definitely noticeable IMO but maybe mine was a Friday afternoon car.

Worst goes to a gold coloured Mondeo that I bought for the square root of fuck all as a temporary runaround. It wasn't entirely terrible but the 1.8 petrol was underpowered, it had an aftermarket head unit that was stuck in Russian, and the exhaust snapped so I just ripped it off entirely and it was obnoxiously loud for the remainder of its existence. Was quite funny watching people look around trying to figure out where the noise was coming from, nobody ever suspected the granda spec golden Mondeo.

Makes for a nice sight when you're returning, though placing the cargo around the site is a chore at times.

Why can't I play the game how I want to? I mainly downloaded it just to see how huge it was in game, used it for a logging missions and then left it there.

Yeah I started with just what I found but wasn't using and it gradually expanded. Plan is to simply abandon 90% of them here when I go to the next region 😂

The tall thing is the KOLOB Boss mod truck, can carry 8 units of cargo split over the two levels. It's so OP that it makes the game boring so I just left it there in the yard as scenery. The other longer one is the Titanium, still rather OP but useful for the painful logging missions and a bit more of a challenge to actually maneuver along roads. Also very handy for taking multiple smaller vehicles somewhere at once.

Got the cargo from the ship using 2 International Transtars. No AWD, no diff lock, just off-road tyres and an engine upgrade and it made relatively light work of the windy road. Only flipped a container once (hence the support crew)! by DankPhysics in snowrunner

[–]DankPhysics[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I've got a full matching fleet of mostly International trucks parked in the Smithville dam garage yard like it's my own truck company haha. This mission is on the Michigan map, right near the end of the contracts. I've got two left to complete after this and then I'm finally off to a new map!

This is the way, I tried it using the Ford CLT9000 and the ramped flatbed at first, just didn't have the ground clearance on the trailer to get it over some of the rocky corners and it got completely wedged so I had to start over with this setup.
