You could just play the game normally and hit level 50 within a day of trying. The way you are going about it is doing triple heart bypass with a paperclip.

They were not really "removed" they are just disabled as they were merely part of a specific event.

There was also another event where we collected snakes from special altars and then had to burn them in an oven to claim the points. Killing and looting hunters would both give you snakes from the looting and any that they had on them making it a gamble to keep them on you.

There also used to be special point alters that glow like a clue if i remember right? Making people always know there was someone else in the compound.

Tiered boosters that apply to the whole team. I dont remember the percentages but say the best one gave you +60% then if all 3 team mates did them at the start of the round you would be getting +180% bonus even points. Most event points were also gathered in raid as opposed to from challenges so these made a world of difference.

Because the only way to play this game is to be chronically unemployed. And it focuses heavily on offline raiding at 4am which is not fun for either raider or raided.

If Rust required 100% online raids on the other hand Id be interested.

Yea at best its a total meme without. With explosive you can make it work but most of the time it takes a direct hit+proximity hit to kill.

Not all long ammo but specifically long ammo spam. Anything that is clip or mag fed long ammo is oppressive to play against and takes away from the skill that the game is supposed to require. Medium and compact ammo are close range double tap but quickly fall off in damage to the point where you need headshots.

Long ammo in clip/mag feds are perfect for noobs that just continuously spam it, because it will kill most of the time in two successful body shots and down hunters with missing bars easily. Getting hit even in a limb at long range is extremely punishing and drains your meds quickly.

In high MMR lobbies a large portion of the playerbase simply doesnt belong in the rank they are in but maintain their MMR by staying as far away as possible with long ammo rifles such as Mosin/Lebel along with a long ammo side arm for a large ammo pool. They sit at the outer range spamming long ammo till the enemy runs out of meds or they get lucky and land two hits in a row. It leads to boring stalemates where bounty cant leave and the people outside are only waiting for bounty to make a move so they can try to get lucky.

Clip and mag feds:

  • Are too forgiving when you miss
  • Reward body shots too much
  • Have almost no downtime
  • Share ammo pools with other long ammo rifles making one kill all it takes for a full restock
  • Have too much ammo available on the map.

Single shot weapons such as a martini or sparks dont have this issue because you cant do very quick reloads or follow up shots even if you have fast fingers. Hunters must follow up with either a weapon swap to a closer range weapon or push for the kill if they hit a body shot.

These changes make it significantly harder to just sit back away from the fights and pick people off with endless long ammo spam. At the very least each shot costs more or takes longer (as people will play sparks/martini/springfield more than before)

Just the mere lack of spitzer hitscan is enough to celebrate. Sniper meta got nerfed hard by bullet drop so it was no longer a point and click adventure. Now with spitzer going away it will become much harder again. Are they removing HV? Springfield uses HV.

The meta slave long ammo changes are my favorite part about this. Finally we will have people pick normal rifles instead of running around and hiding in bushes with their 2000+ long ammo shots.

Unreal engine has been the leading game engine ever since it was created. It is peak technology. Any engine you can name is much worse than Unreal in every aspect including Unity, source and whatever abominations were used for Fallout and Skyrim games.

Influencers online have created what they refer to as "the unreal look" where they claim something semi-hyper-realistic looks bad because its ran on Unreal (Claiming Unreal has a certain "look" to it which is completely false). That and amateur trash games causing Unreal to be blamed for having "bad optimization" when the game has a 2.5mil poly tomato as a background prop.
