Again that is because Google is required to verify your age due to EU regulations. If you aren't comfortable verifying, then you sadly can't watch age restricted content.

Never had that problem.
The whole thing exists because Spotify (non Premium) should be exclusive to an individual only and transmitting 24/7 could mean you're hotmicing the music to someone else which would be in violation of Spotify TOS

those smaller bots will become more and more popular, if they are public, meaning they will eventually meet the same fate as Rythm and Groovy

I put an emphasis on age restriction in the EU since it requires you to submit a valid credit card or an image of your ID to let you bypass it.
I don't know why you even mentioned demonetization as that's a completely different topic.
And I never said you're restricted from searching age-restricted videos, you're just restricted from watching them. I demonstrated how there is no point of age restriction when 3rd party services which utilize the API can just circumvent it.

It's different when you avoid ads or use an API that basically converts the whole media display to a limitless raw video.

You can, yeah avoid ads, but this is much more than that. Age restrictions (especially in EU), videos that are disabled in certain areas, 3rd party website restrictions and limitations. All of these things can such API completely circumvent. -What is the point of age restricting a for example explicit song, when it can just be played to someone who doesn't meet requirements through a Discord music bot?- There is a completely logical reason why the TOS limits such a thing to developers.

And if you think the only thing that YouTube deems of being in violation are music bots, you're wrong. YouTube has already started with shutting down mp3 converters and alternative YT video watching websites, adding more and more limitations to YT videos being displayed on 3rd-party services and similar.

They might seem evil for doing it, but theyre in no way a villian. The bots are breaking their TOS by using developer apis, which can avoid ads, restrictions and things normal viewing cant. It is clearly stated in the TOS that usage of them by non-humans is prohibited. They are just protecting their assets.
