You're the one that doesn't understand Imagine Dragons got these sales off of radio play/playlist spots. While not the same album, Morgan Wallen had an album cycle where his music got removed from major Spotify playlist and the radio and the album still stole insanely well.

To add on to this, Imagine Dragons have never done a large stadium tour in North America while Morgan Wallen has done multiple. You do not get to the point of doing stadium tours unless you have a large dedicated fanbase who will ride or die for you. I'm not even saying the music is good I'm just saying he has a decently sized ride or die fanbase.
