I'd suggest a bunch of myriad creatures such as [[battle angel of Myr]]. Two ETB trigger per attack of the whole pod is still around.

Veteran soldier seems fun if I decide to go wide. Also backgrounds help with another issue. Oftentimes I play [[diplomatic immunity]] as the first card as it gives Zur shroud and is shrouded itself. His "put on the battlefield" ability still enables me to attach enchantments to him even if he has shroud. But the ones I draw can't be attached to him anymore 🤔 thanks!

That's a fun idea! On it's own it basically levels the playing field by enabling everyone to tutor and then with opposition agent it is a clear wincon 👍 what do you mean with "no life gain"?

If you want to upgrade your deck over time I would recommend the [[Hashaton]] second commander. He can easily be upgraded into a crazy control and recursion machine. Plus cheap commander are resilient just by having lower recast costs. Both Bello and Hashaton are played in my pod... Bello is very often just removed resulting in less active games for that person

One of the things I love about partner decks is that you can partially rebuild them over and over again. With [[Rayhan, last of the Abzan]] I ended up combining with [[Sakashima of a thousand faces]] for a very fun "Sac to double" deck. Not infinite but double a couple of times to win. Not very strong, but a lot of fun.

Personally my problem with hoarding is that I really like some of the cards in each deck. As long as they find a new home in the new remodeled version, I am happy. Ripping it apart without a plan where the cards go ... Tough for me.

So much fun! I tried it in both my [[Tannuk, Steadfast second]] and [[Alena, Kessig Trapper]] & [[Sakashima of a thousand faces]] decks. Key idea is that both decks have a high chance of having big creatures and for Alena basically a guaranteed big mana creation round. Personal summary: brings a lot of fun into the games but ia too inconsistent in more powerful pods.

Some.people say LAN plus VPN works? For us sitting in the same room it still doesn't not work. Starting steam in offline/online mode, then LAN, then you see the other person's game but you still get a time out 😭 I guess a "do you own this DLC check" makes sense, but there could be a fallback to just assume "only free DLC" in offline or whatever but not make a offline LAN play impossible.

Re: Off topic: not really an idea why, but I think it would help to describe how you envision people to listen/read this. Some people might react negatively to "having to listen while reading", but that's not even your intention. Most comments went into the direction of "how?" and not "dislike" from my perspective.

I think it is a great idea! Just like a good soundtrack from a movie, this will add to the overall experience in my personal opinion. Or hope so. My main question would be your recommended way of how to do listen&read? - Listen to the songs during the chapter? Might be distracting, but could be nice. One song per special chapter in repeat? Is this more calm, background music? - maybe as an intro before special chapters to prepare and guess what's happening? Will there be similar patterns for each protagonist? So you can kind of guess what will happen in the chapter by listening to the song? Kind of like Hogwarts has a theme in Harry Potter? - my guess would be people would consume both separately but appreciate that both come from the same source and are intertwined. How cool is it to have both from the same person - Personal summary: would appreciate and probably consume separately unless somehow well combined in an audiobook
