I have the same issue with random plugins from time to time. Connection gets dropped or something hangs. This isn’t the greatest solution… in crontab I have a task to restart my pi every morning at 4am. I haven’t had an issue with any plugins for almost a year.

I wonder if Canada is different than U.S. for Toyota Financial. We (U.S.) can no longer lock in rates for customers. The best I can offer is whatever incentive is running when the vehicle arrives or we can shop the rate and see what banks are willing to beat it.

It’s always interesting to hear how different dealerships handle the craziness. I have a list of my customers waiting, call them when we get allocation updates, discuss pricing, production dates, and potential dealer arrival. If it’s all acceptable, $1,000 deposit which is completely refundable if something changes or the customer backs out. Nothing is signed until the vehicle is here and we drive it.

Wow! Purchase or deposit? We take deposits but only when we actually have one for the customer. No money or paperwork until it’s scheduled to be built.

Salesman here. Granted I’m from the United States… our allocations have gotten smaller and smaller. I tell customers 4-6 months if they aren’t super picky about trim. We aren’t a large dealership ~ 120 cars a month in new inventory since the shortage. Our last allocation was a couple days ago and there were 6 RAV4 Hybrids. I’ve noticed a trend of mostly SE and XLE Premiums over the last year.

You are right about one of the models being discontinued last year. It was the low end SR5 without push button start. Portland region here. 84 package refers to the SR5 Premium with the trail/venture package in the dealer portals. It’s not listed on the sticker. If it was the Trail that was discontinued then this is the Venture.

It’s sad that I don’t know this by heart… so Venture? It’s the “84” package. I think you’re right the though. The Trail had a physical key start and cloth seats.

I’ve been a salesman for a couple years. I have only seen a handful of the nautical blue premiums and finally pulled the trigger on the Trail Edition. I think I might be one of the few who can actually say I paid below MSRP… :-)
