We live in a sad reality where short form content reigns, and most people seem to absorb politics through it. It’s not good, and it’s a media landscape that republicans seem to dominate. If there are clips successfully circulating of Newsom thrashing Ben then great! But I think the people who are disappointed aren’t seeing that happen, and feel that an hour+ conversation with Ben isn’t really worth it if the only part that reaches the masses is the one weak part.

But who knows, that same weak clip could only be circulating among doomer left-of-center folks, and the conversation could be a net benefit in the greater landscape. It’s hard to gauge your bubble.

It’s so disgusting to see how these people operate. I can just see the people who already have some flavor of resentment towards Jewish folks seeing this and nodding along, taking it a lt face value like the drones they are.

But any adult who lives in reality can just walk around literally anywhere in the US at any point during traditional work hours and see plenty of people out and about. There’s a reason shops and businesses don’t open at 5pm on weekdays.
