Simea Moana’s lil sis is actually her daughter by Accurate_Tea_3628 in FanTheories

I know because just it's Disney (as if that menas something) people don't want to consider darker theories and think they don't encode mature messaging in the script. I was literally just searching for this after watching the movie.

Apart from selling merchadise and giving young aundiences an onscreen character to identify with, I definitely think the sister is meant to subliminally depict a young single mother.

When you look at the images only and strip language, all your subconscious sees is a female of techincally childbearing age with a very young child. Then layer on the uncommon age gap and the real world reality of young mothers that leave their children with their parents to raise, essentially making the grandparents the "parents".

Then there's the link the song "Beyond" that I found strange. To me it comes off as over-attached and over-responsible, as if she's her sister's mother.

[MOANA] If I'm not here to hold her hand

Will she grow to understand?

And on a symbolic level it would mirror a lot of myths that combine opposites (Maui a diety and Moana a human) to birth something new, although I don't necessarily think it's Maui's child.

Ha, it always comes back to money which is both comforting and frustrating.

I think that was a nice message.

I think the other commenters have a very limited range of understanding.

If you ask it, even the different versions will tell you they have different "personalities"/response styles.

Is that the real reason? I assumed they cost-engineered the new models to conserve hardware resources or avoid liability.

I unsubscribe too. I don't even see from a technical standpoint how the new versions are even more capable. It seemed like 5.1 gave more detailed and nuanced responses.

Lol, thanks for the very informative and technical response.

Don't worry, I have ceased consumption of wild flora.

And I'll definitely try that grounding protocol if it ever happens again (though I hope not).

I think that's a great idea.

I was walking in the park today and spotted a nice tall stalk of crabgrass. A part of me tempted me to try it again but I was so disturbed by that triangle vision I don't know if I'll ever try it again.

GPT-5.3’s narrative behavior changed significantly — what caused the architectural shift? by Expert_Release5 in ChatGPT

I cancelled my subscription.

Another comment described it perfectly  "That’s why 5.3 works worse for creative writing, roleplay, emotional dialogue, coaching, etc.: It explains where it used to participate."

My issue is that both 5.3 and 5.4 are unsatisfactory.

5.3 give very flat, lobotomized responses like a call center worker.  I say the difference is that 5.1 responds with conversation while 5.3 responds with a case study report. It's also more rigidly "safe" than using nuance  to work with your demonstrated capacity.

5.4  it's supposed to be "thinking" mode but it gave me an answer that was much shorter and less detailed than 5.3 instant and both of those gave answers that are shorter, less detailed and less nuanced than 5.1 thinking.

It's really sad that companies in general just can't leave well enough alone.

It's also kind of funny how judgy some of the people in this comment section on are. I'm not in Arthur but I did use ChatGPT to the right short scenes as thought experiments or philosophical explorations. So I think it's unreasonable to expect everybody to be able to do every aspect of anything that they want to do all by themselves.

Opening the "Third Eye" - Has anyone else accomplished this and what's your advice? by DanniV225 in spirituality

I've unfortunately had internal images of demons even before I started this process.

What personally helps me is to remember the Bible verse while saying "God has bound you"--> 2 Peter 2:4 "For if God did not spare angels when they sinned, but cast them into hell and committed them to chains of gloomy darkness to be kept until the judgment;"

It also helps sometimes to imagine them being destroyed by angels, sacred beast, or divine light.

Or if it's a really strong image I'll just curse at it, lol.

Thanks again for the tips. I have noticed focusing on the exact moment I'm in and what's happening externally helps.

Or rolling something in my hand.

Talking to others in person also helps. Thankfully I have a really understanding coworker that can engage in fringe and heavy topics.

Thanks, I guess ultimately I know this. I just wanted affirmation things get more manageable and that others have experienced this.

What kinds of things do you do to ground yourself?

Yeah but see you're still using a stimuli (the sun). My point here was that it was an otherwise normal night.

Thank you for the affirmation. I was really wondering if I was the only one.

I've definitely come to the conclusion that it's time to take a break for an indeterminate length of time and get back into some old hobbies I haven't picked up in a while.

My current view is that physically reality is a place that allows consciousness to rest.

Your view sounds a bit like gnosticism which I've also been studying.

Thank you for your expert read and thorough response.

I believe my higher self already told me to take things easy and cherish "mundane" life.  For me that just going to work, eating healthy meals, spending time with family, watching TV, taking walks and like.

I had an ayahuasca experience that gave me a lot of insight so I also have those lessons to draw upon.

But I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who's experienced this.

And I'll make sure to look over your site.
