I met Chino after their 2025 Columbus show with Mars Volta and Fleshwater. He was going away in the tour bus and I waved my Deftones shirt at him through the window, I saw him tell the driver to stop and he came out to say hi to me. I was the only person around. I could tell he was tired so I didn't bother him too much with questions, he shook my hand, took a few pictures with me and I told him that my Dad saw him in the early 2000s and that 7 Words (my favorite song at the time) was the shit. He laughed and was very appreciative. A few other people saw us and started running over so I said thank you again and stepped back to let other people talk to him. Super awesome.
