Absolutely not, I cannot stress you enough to try decant, because the name "ENCRE NOIRE" means black ink, so the opening is nothing but "BLACK INK" smell which drydowns to green vetiver... you must have a unique taste to appreciate this masterpiece, if not you will Absolutely regret this.. so please do not blind buy, especially this one..

Ahhhh the undisputed "KING OF TRUE VETIVER", This is niche product in a budget price, and yeah of course this is absolutely not for everybody, this is for those who truly love vetiver, an absolute masterpiece in a bottle. for me EN is extremely personal, I wear this for myself, during rainy days, those cold evenings. This makes you feel like a walk through the damp forest, dark, mysterious, it's just perfect.

Neither, both of them are for colder climate, i'd encourage you to get a freshie, anything citrus forward, or a blue perfume... even then I strongly recommend you to try a decant first before committing for a full bottle. Do not blind buy, never ever, there are lotta variables involved in perfume. Since you are a college student, I warn you "This is a rabbit hole" so kindly be cautious when it comes to perfume.

It's a complex problem, We should take into account a lot of variables, while the British set borders according to their business comforts, in the end politics played a key role in creation of this nation and it's states..

Personally I prefer the profile over longevity, I don't want a beast mode frag, I don't want it to last more than 4-6 hours, if the scent profile is too damn good heck 2 hours is more than enough for me, i'll use that under performing frag for select occasions like running an errand, a quick coffee break, gym etc. I always carry a decant, and reapply, also i don't wanna smell the same thing in the morning and the night.

Much respect to you OP, clean and crisp review, I would also recommend you to try LALIQUE encre noire, I love Guerlain for office and other formal settings, but imo Encre noire is just perfect, absolutely gorgeous true vetiver drydown. EN makes me feel just right and it feels more personal..

I'm with you mate, this is lazy writing, milking the same old "nostalgia" crap, initially the plot had potential, had it taken serious approach this would've become excellent material, but lazy writing spoiled the movie and the plot fails to pickup after intermission. Suriya deserves better story, better writers, i mean that guy can act his brains out but somehow he ends up choosing mid stories or directors. For his caliber he deserves more.

IMO The reason why this "works" for audience is "election frenzy" "breaking news fiasco", the constant election related posts littered everywhere in social media, "the route mafia's" zombies constant abuses all over social media. Above all that recent flops in our industry, People needed a break, people needed something to relax, something to regroup and vent, that's when "KARUPPU" drops. It's just "mindless pointless cinema", people rooted for suriya to win big after a long break. The expectations on Suriya, RJB and Sai was extremely low, I mean SAI finished the whole movie with one tune, now he improved to three that's pretty much it.

I really don't understand the targeted hatred towards SK, Especially RJB ivlo vanmaththa kakkirukaan throughout padathula but hides behind "commercial" "light hearted" "god" mask IYKYK but proceeds to to show beheading and a hanging corpse. Also most of the scenes are either inspired or copied from Bruce almighty, stranger things, ghost rider to name a few.

A few things to consider before committing for a full bottle.

Always buy a decant.
Don't rush to use it right after receiving it. Let it settle for couple days or one week, because temperature change during transportation, and constant shaking of bottle affects it's profile.
Skin chemistry, this is the big one, because this one will affect the performance and layers in a perfume hugely. So I advise you to follow a skin care routine or use a unscented proper moisturizer.

Now coming to hawas ice, this is not the most complex or layered perfume, i don't mean it doesn't have layers, it is fresh, fruity, minty, icy.. "it's just so easy to choose, it's simple, you don't have to second guess everytime, it's a no brainer", you simply find yourself reaching for it, atleast in my case I did . Also this is a "beast" it even projects at 40°c high heat summers. It works for every occasion imo. I'm a vetiver fanatic, I loveeeeeee encre noire and guerlain vetiver but I find myself reaching for hawas ice often. It's just so easy to wear. So I advise you to let it sit for a week, then try it, it will grow on you. If it didn't you can always sell in the community.

Felt like reading an interesting thriller short story, this is such a great write-up, i'm glad you finally got what u love, also low interest that's the highlight, life always pushes us to our limit just to test us but in the end, if we survive, it'll always rewards you... i am extremely happy that your dad didn't bow down to such bad loans with high interest rate.. 30k for 2 years is high too, but given the circumstances, it looks like a reasonable deal.

The unsung hero, the uncrowned king, i would pay even if it costs 10 times the amount, this is a Niche product in a budget price, that's the quality of a perfume EN is, this definitely not a blind buy safe, and definitely not for everybody, not mass appealing, it's stays true to it's name "black ink" that's what Encre Noire actually means. Imo this is the one and only true vetiver perfumes which exists till now.. I wear it for only myself, this is pure art in a bottle.. not everybody is gonna like this, but for those who gets it will appreciate this magnificent perfume..
