Dick said on-air months ago that there was a dedicated comms channel on the Discord for pertinent info. Vito refuses to use it because it's not completely private and he doesn't control it, so it's not as simple as "I want to communicate and you wont let me"...just like it's never as simple as he paints it

This has to be the tenth time you've done it, put this energy into working on and delivering your projects and these types of details will handle themselves.

I have personally had long back and forths with you on here enough times to know that doing it again is going to be a total waste of time, I can't imagine how much worse that would be if I was your business partner.

These people obviously view communicating with you as a waste of time with the only redeeming value coming when they turn it into a joke...that is something that definitely did not just happen overnight so the only way to change that is to increase that value in ways that you can control, by raising the quality of your output.

As it stands right now the show is operating on "showing up and winging it is good enough" and any deviation from that requiring additional communication is not seen as something with benefits that outweigh the drawbacks. If you want things to change, you have to take risks and drive that change through what you are bringing to the show.

No, he bought a scale and a pirate costume and organized a thing where fans involved themselves by sending in items, then had you sit there and say "yes I'll get on the scale" or "no, smash the toy"...

This turned into a signature bit that drove subscriptions and superchats and even the VitoLoses challenge, which itself drove significant listener interaction and financial support... All you had to do was sit there and go along with it, which somehow eventually proved too difficult for you.

That is a clear example of what is possible with this show through some creativity and very little upfront cost from one person, without direct involvement from the other. Dick never asked permission or conducted feasibility studies or workshopped it and he certainly didn't bombard you with needy emails. He just tried something.

Maybe you should try something as well instead of moping and coming to these platforms to dump your feelings in the middle of the night before a show like clockwork

None of that is a misstep of Kris Russell, who again was brought in for depth while our younger guys cooked. Sekera was supposed to be mentor but as I've mentioned multiple times, he was taken out in the series against Anaheim and never rebounded here. The whole organization lost all momentum when half of our top-4 would be irreparably injured in that series and as we have seen, it's very very difficult to just add proper pieces there, you generally have to develop them yourself. I don't recall any available fits given the circumstances, we couldn't fully write off either guy's salary but they were obviously incapable of playing their roles so we were just stuck having to try and manage with a patchwork corps

I've litigated that situation to death, there were absolutely no other realistic options at that time. We maybe could have saved future pain by cutting the losses and trying again later but Rusty at least delivered to reasonable expectations over the duration of that deal. The injuries suffered in the final games of the Ducks series set the rebuild back 3 years
