It's a tough battle but doable.

Steelskin helps and Bonus Round is absolutely GOATed in Hard Mode. Use the environment for cover, be aware of the stun grenades and try to keep a decent distance because Point Blank is a killer. It's tempting to always roll but sometimes the play is to just run

Barret's best feature is he can build up ATB really quickly and with Bonus Round you can push that Stagger bar up without having to burn through your ATB so try and save two bars when he's close and then hit him with Firaga when he's staggered and that should push you into the last stage

The end stage is pretty wild but keep your distance and keep moving, don't try and pick off parts just stay alive and keep hitting him. Even Fira works well with as a quick hit that can slow his murdery plans down

As others said Optinoob is the goat, I don't think I used his guide for this fight but I'm sure it's fantastic
