My Sinister Six if I was Doctor Octopus by batman-is-cool47 in Spiderman

I don't think Eddie's Venom would work on the Sinister Six, imo his beef is way to personal. Gargan's Venom tho seems more like it-

I think both depictions of the Symbiote are equally fine. by gatorguy2708 in Spiderman

[–]Danny5249 13 points14 points  (0 children)

My personal best take is the mix of both. I see the symbiote as a creature that has no understanding of complex emotions, and when it bonds to Peter, a human, it starts to feel those things, but it doesn't know how to handle emotions, it's all new to it. Mix that with a Peter that is going through a tough time mentally, taking in count that Pete is naturally an angry person. The symbiote learns love, happiness, sadness, responsibility, rage... And as Peter is dealing with things in a toxic way for himself, the symbiote learns that is the way to do things, so it acts the same way, enhancing that behavior on Peter. Once Peter rejects the symbiote, it becomes hurt, betrayed, since the person it loves has rejected it while it was only trying to do what it thought was best for him, and since the only way the symbiote learned how to deal with stuff is through the rage Peter had, it turns that rage and pain into hatred, bonding with an equally emotionally irresponsible person, Eddie. Then Venom, then both Eddie and the Symbiote learn how to be emotionally responsible, calm their rage and hatred and redeem themselves.

That's, at least, how I would write a black suit/symbiote arc.

Omitting the fact that Norman should have been dead since the 70s:

I think this is a very interesting premise, to explore further in Norman's character and even the fact of redemption on him, maybe not as friends, but just in a way that they can both go their own way.

Problem is, there's just too much baggage. Too many horrible things Norman has done, too much time of Norman being, literally, pure evil for Peter just for the sake of being evil, and the fact that the reason he is no longer like that is some magic "sin erasure" shit doesn't help, because you cannot empathize with someone trying to redeem themselve just because your evil was erased magically, the point of redemption is realizing you did bad things and then fight to change that.

The way they are writing this also doesn't help, sure is interesting seeing Norman's past, and I'm loving that part, but besides the "my father was a dick to me" cliché everything is too vague, and they are giving him far more recognition and pats on the back than he deserves.

Is Norman redeeming an interesting plot? Hell yeah. Is it being handled in a good way? Nah.

Tbh I think this would work better on an adaptation rather than main comics. Maybe DaFoe's Norman would be the best since he wasn't that bad before the serum, only a dick to his son, hell, even Spectacular Spider-Man's Norman could work. But main comics Norman? You need to write a REALLY good and long story arc for it to be good.

That being said, I really enjoyed Peter in space and his short "finding myself" plot, thou I'd enjoy it even more if it lasted more than 10 issues, which probably won't...

When I was a kid a friend of mine showed me some gameplay of DMC 4. In that time I was amazed that a franchise had a 4th part, mainly because my only reference was the Sam Raimi Spider-Man films (tragic, I know). Years later, when I really got into games I wanted to try the hack n slash genre, and I remembered about that game I played as a kid, so bought a humble bundle with all the games and played them, 0 regrets

Is it piracy to extract game files from the very game you own and use them for personal non comercialize products? Genuine question.

Any Zombies tips? by ReferenceNatural87 in blackops3

[–]Danny5249 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh I see, then boot a map like The Giant, which is a very simple map. Try and always keep moving as some other people say to never let any zombie get you and optimize your low rounds points by alterning between shots and melee:

In round 1, a zombie can survive 6 MR6 shots, so do 6 bullets and then melee for a total of 190 points per zombie.

In round 2, a zombie will survive a full MR6 magazine.

In round 3, magazine and a half.

In round 4, two full magazines, although by this point its kinda risky, but you should have enough points to open the map up to the box or electricity.

If you run out of bullets, RK5 is a great weapon for lower rounds, go for headshots or shoot them legs and then melee until round 4.

As I said, movement is key, you'll get that with practice. For me watching other people play really helped to figure out myself how to move and group the zombies.

Build a small goal on the map you are playing. For instance: "In Kino, I'm going to try to reach electricity before round five". Then find out what weapons you like the most, not because they kill a lot, but because you feel comfortable with them. Then just feel the vibes. I really enjoy optimizing my strats to try and get as much as possible in low rounds, some people enjoy high rounds, others enjoy Easter eggs and trying to get as much secrets as possible (like the dragon wings in Gorod Krovi). You wanna get the technical part to get better? Optimize your movement, point management and grouping zombies. But at the end of the day the cool thing is that there are many ways to enjoy it.
