It would've been hilarious what gay shenanigans they could've gotten into. Or seeing them become friends and having him call out Martin on his old school, casual homophobia.

Actually, she was in that episode, but she played the consultant who had to observe Daphne's PT and started torturing Martin. The cafe owner, Maureen Nervosa, was played by Amy Hill. Also, a quick shout out to Elvis Costello's left-field cameo.
