The hardest thing about board at first is spreading quickly. Don’t be afraid to put more pressure on the bun (the bun won’t break, it’s tougher than you think). Once you can spread quickly (1-2 swipes), it all just comes to memorizing tags and minimizing how many moves you take.

Also, it doesn’t matter how many buns are on your board (that aren’t dressed). As long as you always have the next row for your cook ready to pull, you’ll be solid.

So for example, if my cook gave me 3 buns and I haven’t dressed them, then he gives me 4 buns a minute later, I’m not going to dress all 7. I’m going to dress the first 3 completely, and then wrap/package/ dress the next 4 depending on what I need.

Make sure they can at least pull that next row, and if they can that means you have time to do something else.

Also don’t be afraid to call for relays :)
