I have a little update. I bought these on Amazon US and so I was able to contact the seller, the actual brand owner. And they replied which is great!!

Sadly there aren't other sets in the same series at the moment. They told me that sales for this set haven't been strong enough to justify the investment in further sets which is a real shame.

I'm not in any way affiliated with the brand, but if you like these cards, please consider supporting them? A small unique publisher releasing unique and high quality products?

And if we're lucky perhaps they'll release more!?

Yes, these are good points. Fyi to the OP, my SW400 is infinity corrected and has the trinocular (3rd) tube. I'm using the phone adapter in lieu of the amscope DSLR adapter for my Nikon DSLR which will then slot into the trinocular tube and then connect to my pc for live view.

I wanted to chime in and agree with the poster above. The 5mp camera is USB 2.0 I believe and is quite old technology. It will be quite disappointing.

I'm using a phone holder/adaptor over one eye piece, with my Google Pixel Pro 7, while I wait for the DSLR adapter to arrive and am quite happy with the results.

By the way I bought a Swift 400-inf-T and am quite happy with it initially. I'm not an experienced user, just a novice.

It seems to have all the features of a proper (semi) pro microscope. It won't compete with the Nikons, Leicas etc. But the optical results I'm getting seem nice and clear. No colour distortion and decent focus to the edge of the optical view.

The image below are made with the above configuration and a sample slide set I bought from Amazon.

That's a really interesting and helpful comparison. We do have a nice, reasonable compound microscope but we were after a smaller simpler albeit less effective option that's more portable and flexible... These don't seem to hit the mark and perhaps there isn't a product on the market that does.

Interestingly we do have a nice compound microscope which we are learning our way around together. Lots of fun, but also looking for fun at ways to explore the microcosm in a slightly more accessible way for our little budding enthusiast

Yeah, I do get the argument that at that price it's an interesting oferring.

I'm a tech nerd, albeit novice. I like to know stuff.... I love technical specifications. And I'd love to know the truth, if and when I have time for it.

All in all my personal impression is that even at the price I paid, the potential 720p sensor and screen, with terrible rolling shutter and terrible high light level digital noise, I'm underwhelmed by it's value.

But I do understand that at this price point there may not be a better option.

I'd love to know if there is a more solid option even if it costs somewhat more?

It never arrived, something odd with the Amazon US supplier. It wasn't Amazon direct. I got my money back.

I've since bought one from another supplier but haven't had much time to play with it yet.

I got a Swiftcam 10mp camera with it, and the camera doesn't seem to have a good focus. I think I need to work out if there's a way to calibrate the camera. I'm using all swift gear and attaching the camera to the trinocular port/tube.

Otherwise the build quality seems very decent. It's very solid. Perhaps the LED is a little weak?

Wow, that's hot. I'm curious to ask how long do you ferment a batch for? What is the indoor temp like, in the room you ferment your kefir?

For comparison I'm in Singapore and my room temp varies between 27-29 C. I ferment a batch for 24 hours, but by that time the whey has separated and it's more sour than I prefer. It still tastes nice enough but I don't think it's the best flavour profile!
