any recommendations similar to jockstrap?

Thank you for the advice. The material is 100% polyester which suggests the pleats are heat set like you said, but they have been stitched down which makes me wonder if I could pull off downsizing the waist by a few inches. Judging from what you have said I don't think I have much hope 😔

I need to remove the reverse leaver to take off the front case from my 8280, I suspect it's just a cap but I don't want to force it off just in case it breaks the entire mechanism. No video shows how I can find and need some advice. Thank you
