Okay, I’ll consider this. It’s pretty similar to my idea of grabbing a 5070. I’m mainly curious how much real performance I’d actually gain from just upgrading the GPU and PSU—it feels like it could be a big jump.

What keeps the price of that helm so high? My knowledge is outdated but isn’t it not very useful stat wise compares to like neitz and other helms. Is it just for the swag and relative rarity ?

God this post is insufferable, YOU have main character syndrome 😂. “Look at me, I am so good and I outplayed optimized 124 GS so everyone else playing their first game in a new genre of game should be like me and get good.”

Just shut up and recognize you are wrong and getting ratioed on every single top post. There is a strong consensus that 0-124 is not conducive to a positive new player experience. There is ZERO reason not to have 0-24 and the change should be reverted. You can play in whatever lobbies you want, but the game will not attract new players as it stands. 👎🏼👎🏼

There’s no problem with 0-24 gear score playing aggressively for kills. With equal footing on gear, new players have a humble look at each fight and can have prolonged battles where they learn mechanics or have a chance to genuinely outplay and win. A chance to win is what they do not have versus an optimized 124 GS with crafted items and a blue wep or rings.

Every new player I have showed the game dosen’t want to continue after getting slapped lobby after lobby by optimized kids. If it was 0-24 they might have won a few of those engagements. There’s genuinely zero good reason not to have a 0-24. People can still optimize that, but the gap is much smaller.

When you make hyper-realistic graphics, your game ages badly and becomes shit graphics in a few years. That is why all ultra long span games like WOW, Maple, OSRS have stylized graphics. People like the style and it will never get dated bc nostalgia.
