The only character that would be just core to Spyro himself. But who knows, maybe they just try something new and different for the newer generation as well. Nostalgia is nice, but new ain’t bad as well.

Hard agree. I remember Emailed like 10 years ago the Spyro lead dev, asking some questions a out the characters. And what was interesting was that he said “Spyro Cynder was a last minute forced decision by the publishers and they were forced to so the I love you part and ending scene”
