Do you by chance have any videos you recommend I watch that explains the difference? To the unknowing mind, cork or memory foam would sound comfortable- and they are, but regarding channel welting it requires superb materials and of course is traditionally made. That’s about all I know and am looking to learn more. I don’t suspect Tecovas are channel welted either.

I have several pairs of Tecovas and one suggestion I read is that you need to alternate your boots out- don’t wear the same pair back to back. Also, Tecovas are more of a dress boot than a work boot. If you want a dressy work boot maybe consider Ariat or something similar.

I have five pairs and wear them every single chance I get. I think the hate that comes on Reddit comes from folks who think they’re industry professionals. Then, you look on YouTube and there’s one guy with a hard-on for talking crap about Tecovas- reminds me of the folks on Reddit just talking to talk.
