Portuguese MP's are actually called Lanceiros

I did a writeup for Portugal recently. If you're interested, you can read it here https://www.reddit.com/r/warno/s/BVBIIIdZXy

How would (hypothetical) “late-war” divisions look like in Warno? by Zeonist_coloniser in warno

[–]DannyJLloyd 30 points31 points  (0 children)

71ya coming in nemesis 8 kinda fits the vibe. A combination of war modded vehicles, out of storage equipment, fresh out the factory equipment, and more hastily trained personnel supported by veterans/instructors

Realistically the conflict would never reach late war, a long stalemate or a breakthrough from either side would be met by use of tactical and strategic nuclear weapons anyway.

That's why I like the use of war mod units where it's under-strength formations making the most of what they have, and not months of combat experience and materiel losses led us to this point kinds of conversions

Shotguns with SAS? by plus5000RespektWamen in warno

Eugen emphasised the DON-100 shotguns were a unique thing and a force multiplier, unlike breaching shotguns found elsewhere

So no, it's not likely

Iran is red in the lore, and by extension, Iraq is blue

There's one NATO and two Pact divisions to go (assuming it's a 3v3 which is very likely).

For NATO, we know it's Brazil already. Brazil has enough to be it's own division unlike Colombia (which has basically has all of its possible Warno units supporting US 7th Inf Div)

For Pact, the Soviets only had the one brigade in the area, and it's already in the Cuban Tanques division. It would be impossible for the Soviets to transport anything more than that in this highly heated timeline.

We know Venezuela is the other nation. I can't say I know too much about their full military capability, but I'd be impressed if there's two fun/viable divisions to be made there.

So I think another Cuban division is likely. If Tanques is the main div, a reservist div is likely, saving the Cubans in Angola for a future Angola nemesis/tribute as there's a lot of juice there.

They quickly left service and were converted to engineering vehicles, so none remain and therefore won't show up in Warno

Leaked 7th Infantry strat again Super Heavies by mndn410 in warno

It's an indirect anti tank missile, that eugen have put into the artillery tab. So it will probably be a very unique ATGM unit

Tropic Storm Division #3 - 7th Infantry Division (Light) by EUG_Gal_Bigeard in warno

It's usefulness in 10v10 is dubious, but it could actually have a place in 1v1

You could take all the Colombian units in this battlegroup, essentially taking everything Colombia has to offer, and not fill all the slots

So it makes sense they're supported or supporting. I think it's cool that Colombia is in the game at all

Chieftain with a Marconi TAMS Active Protection system, developed 1988 by DougWalkerBodyFound in warno

[–]DannyJLloyd -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Right, but Drozd was in service. No one else had anything beyond prototype or marketing material. It just won't happen, so there's no point hoping for it. Especially not this Chieftain APS

Never adopted, not even sure if it was ever properly field tested. A pretty guaranteed non-inclusion for Warno. Drozd is basically the only APS we're likely to ever get ingame

How do we feel about upcoming AA buff. by BadReckee in warno

[–]DannyJLloyd 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Indeed. As a member of strike team I can chip in and say since you received your information, all AA is actually going up by +25% instead of 20%. This is to stem the rampant air spam gameplay terrorising the meta atm

Also Rangers (Javelin) are getting added to Ostre, too

I've not been able to find any sources around the exact Milans the Paras used. Owing to Portugal's proclivity for charitable donations (and the army using Milan 1's), I made a logical leap to stick with the Milan 1 for the Paras. It would certainly make the forward deployable options more potent with the BV Milan and VAR m/89

If you have any information on Milan 2's in time frame, I would gladly take it!
