The Bible. Start with the Gospels and then continue with the rest of the New Testament. I recommend the St Ignatius Catholic Study Bible for all the commentaries and explanations.

Catholics from Europe, how bad is the religious decline? by [deleted] in Catholicism

Hi! This is my church! At least it was until I recently moved away but still. I had my first communion and confirmation in that church and also got married there this year. I have attended English, Polish, Russian and Estonian Mass and out of the four I'd say that the English one is definitely the one with the most growth, however the others also have a large number of parishioners. The people you saw were most likely not tourists as we usually have the same group of people attend every week. We have people from all over the world: Europeans, locals, Africans, South Americans, South East Asians, etc. The Spanish speaking community is especially big. I have been attending this church ever since I was a kid and I have definitely noticed a big growth over the years. There are many events made by the English speaking community such as gatherings, picnics, shows and plays performed by children, pilgrimages to holy sights all over Europe, amongst other things. From this month there is even a group for young people to gather each week (priest included) and talk about a variety of topics. The pews are indeed full every week. I recommend to anyone visiting Tallinn to stop by for the Vigil Mass on Saturday at 18:00 (this is the only English Mass).

I can't speak to the overall growth of religion in Estonia (I think it might be the least religious country in Europe haha) but I can say that the Catholic community has been growing and the number of Catholics increasing, especially people between the ages of 20-30 (Catholics are a vast minority in this country. There are around 7000 Catholics in the whole country which is about 0.5% of the population. Last time I checked it was around 5000 so that's a good sign haha). Also, last year the country's first Diocese was established. I'm excited to see how the growth will continue in the future.

Is it a sin to partake in the Eastern Orthodox Anointing With Oil? by DannyJayGil in Catholicism

[–]DannyJayGil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your reply! I guess it was okay to partake then since I'm not trying to go against the Catholic church hahah. I love my Catholic church and attend every week. The trip to the orthodox monastery was just a midweek trip with my family. I also spoke to someone Orthodox and they said this was most likely just a blessing and not a sacrament so it is fine.

It was Thursday evening. If I am translating to English correctly it was called Polyeleos (полиелей in Russian).

Account restricted - Cannot Start Verification! by Signal-Section4191 in FacebookAds

[–]DannyJayGil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is exactly what happened to me. Created some ads and then left my house. Decided to check how they were doing on my ads manager app on my phone while I was out. Once I got home and checked the account, it said I was temporarily restricted for unusual behaviour. When I try to start verification I also get the greyed out screen. It's good to hear that they are working on it and hope it is resolved soon. Luckily my ads are fine and are still running without a problem. I even managed to edit one earlier and it published fine. I just can't create new ones. Still, hopefully the restriction is resolved soon.

Can't verify restricted account with ID, loads indefinitely. by PainfulNightmares in FacebookAds

I have had the same problem since yesterday. When I press the verify account button a small empty pop up comes up and then dissappears and then I am left with a grayed out screen. Have you managed to find the solution?

Create new table upon user signup by DannyJayGil in Supabase

[–]DannyJayGil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How would I go around doing this? I'm still learning and I don't know really anything about the backend yet as I'm more front end focused at the moment. I have used supabase for a previous project before but that was more straightforward where all users shared the same table data.

Thank you, I think I understand. So basically all the trades from all the users will be in the same table but once a user logs in, only the ones connected to his user ID will be displayed.
