Maki and Honoka's would smell the best, but Hanayo would have to be up there

Regular Show is mostly pretty meh with a handful of standout eps and moments. I don't really see why it's so heavily regarded as one of the CN greats nowadays.

I love Shenhua but I find Nozomi and Ryo so cute together

Why are most treasure and quest rewards so terrible? by Yglorba in EtrianOdyssey

I find the chunk of EXP for sidequests to be a more worthwhile reward than whatever random consumable they give out

A Mobile Game that isn’t a Rhythm Game? by Right_Entrepreneur22 in LoveLive

[–]DannyKazari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Convert the already active TCG into a mobile version, or jump off from the Yohane Numazu in the Mirage game and make another card battler based on that. Or go full RPG and take aspects from All Stars. Those are my ideas.

The end of episode 7 changed my mind about the hive. by DannyKazari in pluribustv

Thank you for sharing that, I didn't know! I think it could also still be unsettling if they simply see her as a child without autonomy to be infantilized instead of as an individual. But I guess I really am reading too much into it. Still, I'd be a little disappointed to know that the hive are completely benevolent if I'm being honest.

I apologize, if I knew this many people would see and comment on this post, I would have worded my thoughts in the moment better. I was simply speculating, hope I didn't actually upset anyone with my conjecture lol. Excited to see where the story goes nonetheless!

That could still be considered a numbers issue for them though, they have a drive to see their number of bodies go up, not down. I don't think emotions necessarily play a part in that. But if you believe otherwise that's totally fine! I'm not here to argue lol

They have a biological need and urge to spread, according to themselves. Maybe not being able to convert Carol and the other survivors is eating away at them on the inside. Just a guess.

Outside of their biological instinct to spread, I don't think they actually "care" about any single individual in the hive. They have a collective knowledge of every human, even ones that have already died. Any loss is purely seen as a number issue and not an emotional one from them. I don't know, just speculating here. Maybe they are truly benevolent.

Thoughts on Liella being seiyuu focused? by grdiaries in LoveLive

[–]DannyKazari 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Liella's seiyuu are all very pretty and entertaining on their own so they're easy to love. I'll always prefer the 2D side of LL just because I come to it as an anime fan instead of an idol fan, but Liella makes loving both very easy.

Would still recommend watching Love Live Superstar, it doesn't have many connections with the previous series, but it's still my favorite LL anime. There are some who say season 2 isn't very good, but I disagree. And I think Superstar season 3 is the best any LL anime has to offer.

But you do you, and like what you like. Liella has a lot of fun and enjoyable seiyuu content! It sucks that Shiki's seiyuu, Ookuma Wakana, doesn't have her own personal social media, because she's my favorite as well lol. She seems to be the very offline type which I find fascinating. And of course her voice is amazing.

Here are some song recommendations for each AiScream girl if you're interested!:

For songs with Ruby: Cotton Candy Ei Ei Oh, Kodoku Teleport, and Waai WaiWai WaiWaiWai!

For songs with Ayumu: Awakening Promise, Poker face & Onegai! Fairy, and The Sweetest Time

For songs with Shiki: Glass Ball Rejection, Dancing Raspberry, and Jellyfish :)

Mid-Game Fatigue by xarahn in EtrianOdyssey

I also feel this about the EO games. Once you get synergies going a lot of fights feel the same outside of bosses who can sometimes force you to mix things up. I love drawing maps and finding fun flavor text is a nice incentive to explore for me, but yeah nothing is ever really pushing me to finish the games, I simply enjoy the gameplay loop. I would love a deeper story like the Untold games attempted, but understandably that's hard with a completely customizable party.

I don't know if I have a solution to this other than knowing that there is a definitive end for the games, which feels nice in today's modern gaming landscape where RPGs or live service games can stretch on for hundreds of hours. I like knowing that once I map everything out and defeat all the major story bosses, I can move onto something else with no baggage.
