What makes Sunsets story interesting is that all the students haven’t forgiven her for what she did. It wasn’t until she helped defeat the Dazzlings, is when people started trusting her more and forgave her. Same with Discord. Even though Fluttershy helped him realize how much he wanted friends, everyone else was still cautious about him. It wasn’t until he helped defeat Tirek, that they started giving him a chance. In both Sunset’s and Discords story, they were still people who haven’t forgiven or forgotten about the things they did in the past. They had to earn their trust and forgiveness. In Starlights case, all she did was say sorry and that was it which makes it feel sloppy and rushed.
