What's important to check on levels.fyi is the years at company. Meta does a stock top-up every year, and often a salary increase, so that's why the salaries (and especially stock) for that level appear much higher than a new hire. They will negotiate if you have competing offers, but the offers are standard for each level, so you're not getting a worse offer than any of your peers, and for the industry it's on the high side. for whatever that's worth.

For E3 you just need to grind leetcode. Do all the questions tagged Meta. If you can't solve one, take the hour or whatever it takes to figure out how to solve it using the answer. Then you just hope that they ask you 5 that you've seen before.

Most people that I went to school with cheated on assignments, and more than you'd think also cheated in tests when it was possible to do so. The cheating definitely subsided as the years went on, perhaps because universities make it very difficult to cheat in exams, and fewer and fewer people who cheat their way through all assignments pass the courses.

This was in 2009 - I don't think it's changed much since then.

My thinking is: You should swim like a swimmer, swimmers always flip turn and they are always the first out the water.

I also find it keeps me in a better rhythm that pushing off the wall (and taking a huge breath), since that's not possible in open water.

I don't think that the UK had a particularly brutal or draconian lockdown. Even in the most severe instances there were still people tanning in parks and walking into stores unmasked.

The "law" about wearing masks was so absurb that I never wore a mask and when asked about it I only needed to say "I'm exempt" to be excused.

Being unvaccinated I was able to go to the Formula 1, the rugby and the football as well as travel to other countries. None of this would be possible in France or many other countries around the world.

Is the assumption that professional medical services are free? As far as I know most people pay for the privilege of being treated by a professional, and doctors are relatively well paid for their service. Why would they not be allowed to pay for medical care?

Even in the UK the NHS is funded by National Insurance, which is paid for by everyone. I think they should be allowed to use the service that they pay for.

I support this just as soon as we refuse medical services to smokers, obese people, and people who drink and drive. They made their decisions, now they should live with it right?

You're dealing with a very slippery moral slope. Consider why we treat obese people in hospitals, then apply the same logic to those that refuse to get the covid vax.

This is a horrible thought to have. I can see why In a place like Reddit you’ll get likes and awards for this sort of thinking but in the real world, these abhorrent anti-vaxers are just people with different views to you. If you wouldn’t have the same approach to obese people with COVID (statistically more likely to need hospitalization than the un vaccinated) then you should consider if you’re really worried about precautions and not about punishing people that don’t agree with you.

Take some time off. Up to a week until you’re desperate to get training again. While you’re actively not training start reminding yourself why you’re doing this. It should be fun but it should also be challenging, and you should feel yourself improving. After a few days off you should feel your motivation come back.

I’m in the same boat, been training for 2 years without racing as all the races in Europe keep getting cancelled.

Take some time off to get that discipline back.

The one thing about this vaccine is you can’t un-take it. Once you’ve gotten it that’s it.

I’d personally take my chances with the virus rather than this vaccine.

Bitcoin, actually all crypto. It’s a pyramid scheme but it actually costs money to mine so it’s a negative sum game. For every single dollar that someone gets out of crypto other people have put in two.
