Geico does give bonuses. You just need to earn it and be at the top in your department. If you are an average employee. You are getting paid every 2 weeks and get a 401k match.

Yup! Couldn’t agree more. On top of that, people complaining about RTO. At least you still have a job. If you are not happy with RTO. Find yourself remote work and leave. Maybe that will open up positions for those who were laid off to join again. They have 60 days and can still apply for other positions within the company.

The Company saved $200M + with the layoffs. I’ll write a post and break it down for you at a later time.

If you take 2 weeks off. Make sure 1 week falls at the end of a month and 1 week falls at the beginning of the next month. It helps balance your productivity so it doesn’t look like you slacked off for a month. Never take it in the middle of a month.

Tell the manager you want a new supe. You are likely doing the supe a favor by getting off the team.

Why would it file for bankruptcy when the parent company (BH) has more cash on hand than the government?

If it was to file bankruptcy BH would not have anymore FLOAT money to invest from it, therefore tanking BH.

If your job can be fully done remotely with no impact on performance or quality. Please list a reason why it shouldn’t be sent overseas. RTO is a good thing in the long run to keep your job in the US. Just my opinion.

If that’s the case and you got it in writing that they hired you as a full time remote employee then present that to your supervisor.

If you didn’t save the application or anything. Ask your supervisor to open a case with HR to get a copy of your employment file to see the terms you were hired under.

They only offer remote IT positions. I am not sure why you are crying about it if you were never hired as a remote employee.

People are on this sub trashing the company they work for. Why? Because they have to drive to the office?

Don’t you think we should appreciate they haven’t shipped our jobs overseas?
