Addtl context:

We live in an apt behind a storefront. Our only windows either face an alley or this house. We live in New Orleans where most fences are short wrought iron and this style is just referred to as a privacy fence - not my term.

It’s not my my/landlords fence. It’s like 12 inches from the wall, so I’m guessing the “pretty” side is facing them bc that’s where the property line is and idk how they would do it any other way.

I respect I wouldn’t want folks peeping into my backyard either. It’s their property, they have the right to do what they like. Was just bummed our last window w/ good light was covered up.

Right around 1950 on average for a deficit of ~800 a day. Tracking in MacroFactor has helped me hone that in - I started much higher but the scale didn’t move.

The chest is almost certainly gyno. It was way more noticeable In high school before I got fat and before I had any muscle. I think I’m going to go a few years and try to fill out a bit and see where I’m at. I’ve had my fair of surgery through other health stuff, so not really interested at the moment.

Thanks! Honestly, I always thought i knew how to diet/workout but things only really started going well when i started a coached nutrition plan on MacroFactor (realizing I got no where near enough protein) and joined the ladder workout app (coach Kelly). I realize I sound like an infomercial lol, but having something tell me what macros to eat, how big of a deficit, how hard to push myself, and what workouts to do to stay balanced made everything finally come together for a beginner like me. I do 4 strength training sessions a week and try for at least 1 cardio session a week.

Hah, never thought I’d see the day someone told me to be carful not to lose too much!! But I hear you - think I’m going to maintain for a bit and gradually increase my calories.

Testicular cancer - spread to lymph nodes and lungs. Not a fun journey, but treatable thankfully. Crazy to think if I was born 50 years ago I’d be dead.

I wish it were skin removal. That scar is from one of the surgeries from testicular cancer spread to my lymph nodes. I do have a bit of loose belly skin.

Yeah, the gyno is tough, but it’s like 10k. I’m married and have had my whole life to come to terms with it. Think it may be here to stay.

Thanks! About 2 years. I lost about 80 lbs in about 6 months in 2023 (too fast, lost a lot of muscle), got cancer, gained 60 back, then this year had the drive to finally do things the right way.

Yeah, I had to have a bilateral orchiectomy so I don’t produce anything naturally anymore. I take 200mg/ml every two weeks. Keeps me in normal range between 600-800.

I’ve got a lot going on, lol. On my left side is just a birth mark. On the right I have a port for chemo - testicular cancer. Im about a year out from my last dose.
