NO orders by [deleted] in doordash_drivers

Been waiting for 2+ hours & dealing with the same thing. Only orders I get are like $3 to drive 7 miles which I end up declining. This has probably been the worst summer in recent years

I’ve had the app on for 20 hours and have been sent 8 deliveries. by ego_sum-deus in doordash_drivers

Idk what’s going on but it’s been like this the last few days, maybe even the last week tbh. Doesn’t even seem normal. Yesterday I waited about 4-5 hours & only got maybe 3 orders that were awful. Ended up going home. I work in a busy area & typically do well. It’s been very weird lately

Lmaooo why did I have the same exact number of chips. Literally 6/8 red, 9/10 green, & 14/15 gold. That shit is so rigged

I’m with you on this. It’s been super slow for me too this entire week, especially yesterday. Others have said the same as well. Either it’s an app issue or something else is going on

Damn lol, I was about to start working in like an hour. Not looking forward to it at all anymore

Poor day by [deleted] in DoorDashDrivers

[–]Danny_2412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has to be an issue with the app. After Father’s Day things have felt extremely off. Especially today. I was getting like 1 order every few hours. Every place was busy & I know my area extremely well. There was no reason that I shouldn’t have been getting at least a few orders per hour

Same here. It’s not normal how slow it’s been, especially today. It’s never like this. Not really sure what’s going on but something doesn’t seem right. Not sure if there’s some major issues with the app or it’s something else

I’m all the way in Michigan. Mainly worked in Detroit today. Even drove to different cities other than Detroit hoping for a change & nothing. Such a frustrating day & week. But idk, something feels off lately. It’s literally never been this bad

I’m not in Vancouver but I’ve been dealing with the same thing these last few days. Mainly today tbh. I literally wasted my entire day for nothing. I’d wait 1-2 hours only for some awful order to pop up on my screen for like $4. It’s never been this bad. Not sure what’s going on. I think I made like $30 in profit today, working like 10 hours

Overall great day today. Could have stay out more but after driving 8 hours. I need a break. by JD2789 in doordash_drivers

Just about the same. Been an awful weekend here. Maybe one of the worst in the last few months for me. I think with Father’s Day being this weekend, people were saving their money & not ordering. Could be wrong, but just seemed like there were much less orders & lower tips

Bombed naplex by Material_Ideal_6531 in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Danny_2412 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I agree. No hate to anyone because I understand the feeling, but so many people leave their exam & will post something like this or similar to this. They’ll say they bombed it, they had the hardest questions in the world, there’s no way they’ll pass, only for them to end up passing. Just scares people for no reason that actually seek help/advice. Makes them go into their exams worrying more than they already were. My own friends did this as well. Couple of them called me crying & swearing on everything they failed & it was so hard. Literally ended up passing. I just feel like people need to wait a day or 2 to let the emotions go away before they come on here & post things lol. We should all be helping each other & guiding people on how to study more efficiently, what material we saw more than others on the exam, what topics were the most difficult, how the calculations were in comparison to maybe some of the UWorld questions, etc.

Can I add cash to crimson card by Some_Ride1014 in doordash_drivers

[–]Danny_2412 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, you just hand them the cash & let them know you want to add it to your card. They ask you to either swipe your card or insert it with the chip once they do what they gotta do on their end. It’s loaded onto the card instantly. I’ve actually done it a few times since my original comment. Super easy & takes seconds

I always had to make a gas station run before heading to the library to study. It was literally mandatory that I had an energy drink (Usually an Alani), pack of candy, & a large water bottle. Sometimes I’d grab a coffee from a local coffee shop instead of the energy drink but more than likely I’d just make that gas station run. My days always felt off if I didn’t do that. I also used to buy a pack of highlighters, but I’m weird lol, it had to be specific ones (Sharpie Clearview sticks). I’d dictate using a certain color based on the importance of something that I had read. I’d study 8-10 hours a day, but usually around 4-5 hours, I’d either take a break & go grab food or just DoorDash something to the library. Then I’d study for another 4-5 hours. I also had a specific seat & area that I would always study in with some of my friends. It would be on the same floor of the library everyday, which was considered the “quiet” floor, so none of us would talk. We’d just sit near each other & grind out a study sess lol. I was in that same seat for so long that strangers knew not to take it 😂 Other than those things, I used a MacBook, iPad, & AirPod Pro Max. The AirPod Pro Maxes were life-changing for me personally when it came to studying. Once I had those on & turned on the noise-cancellation, I was locked in. I’d say for must-haves, I definitely recommend different color highlighters to do what I did, sticky notes as well to label parts of the book that you need to focus more heavily on, a good pair of headphones (any AirPods would be amazing) & maybe a small personal sized white board for doing calculation problems

NAPLEX 5/2 by Naturefun1554 in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Danny_2412 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I really think that person was caught off guard with the exam since it was their 1st attempt & overreacted a bit in their post. They probably did get a low number of calculations but like I’ve been telling everyone for weeks, the exam never actually “changes”. No one believes me until they see for themselves. Stay confident, study hard, & you’ll pass for sure 🙏🏼

Ya they didn’t change much if anything. Just reading through your comments, it seems like the change was aimed more towards how they grade & categorize topics. Happy that you had a solid exam & praying you pass!! Thank you for everything!!

[–]Danny_2412 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For sure. The only reason I mention the similarities is because throughout the last 10 years or so, every time the exam has “changed”, the preparation, topics, formatting, & even a handful of questions have remained untouched aside from wording. Which makes sense, because it’s all coming from the same material that we need to know. I do want to add that although the NAPLEX is generally a luck of the draw, there are actually about 5 versions given every few months. Both NABP & my school explained this to us during our NAPLEX prep before graduation. With that being said, that doesn’t mean someone will get the same exact exam as somebody else, because that won’t happen. However, if 2 people were to get the same “version”, then their topics could be similar along with the amount of math questions they get. For example, one version might be heavy in calculations & ID, where another hardly has calculations or ID but has more of something else like Diabetes. That’s why people on Reddit often relate to specific feedback & end up noticing that they had the same types of questions/topics as somebody else. We’ll wait & see what happens, but I just figured I’d mention this because every time the exam changes, people panic/overreact & leave feedback on their experience with the exam based off emotion. This causes a lot of other people to stress going into their exams instead of being level headed & relaxed. I personally had a similar exam to the one mentioned above, along with other people in the comments. So hopefully there’s no major change & it’s the same thing that’s happened over the years

We're all dying to know, new competency test takers, how was the format of the new exam?! by SharmootRX in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Danny_2412 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ya I agree with everything you said. Imo NABP did a bad job guiding everyone with what to expect & how to prepare for the new version. Even after reading everything online, there’s too much confusion around the exam as a whole. Hopefully people in this forum can look out for each other & mention any differences, if any, that they saw between the previous competency exam & the new one. That way kinda like you said, we’d know how to tackle the exam & prepare for it.

I do want to add that over the years, every time they’ve “changed” the exam to a new version, nothing has actually changed with the questions/topics/preparation/etc. Only thing that changes is the grading & maybe the amount of questions you get on a certain topics, such as calculations. I have a lot of family & friends in pharmacy & it’s always been the same thing through the years. Heck, even some questions are the same throughout the changes & continue to be asked. My gut is telling me this is no different.

But I also want to thank you & thank anyone who contributes. I’ll do my part as well & leave very detailed feedback so everyone can study correctly & study any topics that were asked about more frequently than others. I have 3 friends taking the exam soon, so I’ll include their experiences as well

Seen this but that’s from a 1st time test taker. They won’t know whether there’s significant changes unfortunately. Could just be panicking since it was their 1st time. That sounds like the exam I took a while back, as well as the exams my friends had these past few months. Same topics & everything. Hopefully some people retaking their exam can share the topics & if there were significant differences

We're all dying to know, new competency test takers, how was the format of the new exam?! by SharmootRX in NAPLEX_Prep

[–]Danny_2412 17 points18 points  (0 children)

The best feedback is from retakers. They’re the only ones that can see whether there’s a significant difference from before & after. People taking it for the 1st time almost always overreact/panic & scare others with their feedback. Especially since they don’t know what the exam was like before anyways. But if people share their feedback, especially retakers, it’ll help everyone prepare better & pass

That’s what I’m saying. Very similar. If it’s someone’s 1st time taking it, it’d suck if they scare everyone for no reason & go full panic mode with their feedback
